I received the first printed copy of my book ALIVE this morning, but unfortunately the print quality of the cover isn’t too good. I’m going to have to get a designer or someone to fix it with the printers as I don’t think people should buy a book with that kind of quality cover.
As to the print quality of the inside it looks fantastic. So almost there!
The eBook version is available at lulu.com though — get it at this link. It’s only $4 (about R30).
Hi there,
What volume are you running? Is it self published? Is it your first? Are you self distributing?
Hey Mark,
I’m self-publishing through http://www.crink.co.za. Check it out. I’m also planning on doing the same through http://www.lulu.com as well as Amazon’s CreateSpace service.
As to Crink, it’s South African so the price is more reasonable. However, as I discovered this morning, the quality of the print of the cover is not so cool and I did go over the guidelines in the system. Crink still seems to be in beta so it can be a little difficult to get it to work. I’ll need to contact them directly to sort out the cover problem.
Not my first š I did another book called “Single” a few years back, which I’ve revised and am looking at making available again.
Then, soon, my fantasy book “When Twins War” is going to be my next project! Only a few chapters away from finishing the edit — man, the editing takes FOREVER.
I keep on starting the writing process, finishing 3 – 6 chapters and then giving up. I spend so much time thinking about them that they end up boring me. I have 3 manuscripts at various stages of development. Hat’s off to you.
Thanks Mark š Sorry, haven’t been at my blog in like more than a week, so busy moving and things.
All my manuscripts bore me. I’m so bored of my fiction book right now — only five chapters to edit and I’m going crazy trying to do it. Been working on it for like 2 / 3 years.
